The Time for Medieval Festivals

Medieval festivals time

Most medieval festivals in Romania are organized in summer, between late spring and beginning of autumn. There are exceptions, such as a Christmas Medieval Sighisoara, in 1997, or the festival in Mogosoaia, from November 2018 to confine myself to just two examples. Low temperatures coupled with wind take away potential spectators and disturbs seriously the actors. The scorching sun can be more easily resolved, but not rain. And if we got to rain, in 23 years of activity, with numerous concerts held outdoors, several Nomen Est Omen concerts were postponed, but none canceled. The picture corresponding to these lines of text, made following exiting the stage, reminds us that soon after would begin the storm that had been in the air throughout our concert.
